灵芯集成成为中国第一家芯片级获得Wi-Fi Logo的IC设计公司

苏州，10月11日，2011年——苏州中科半导体集成技术研发中心有限公司（灵芯集成，SmartChip Integration-SCI）宣布其研发的Wi-Fi芯片（包括射频芯片S103和基带芯片S901）以及模组SWM9001已获得Wi-Fi联盟的产品认证，成为中国第一家芯片级获得Wi-Fi Logo的IC设计公司。这标志着中国本土IC设计公司在Wi-Fi芯片技术领域的一次重大突破，并使Wi-Fi芯片采购商找到更高性价比产品解决方案成为可能。

Wi-Fi技术在移动宽带领域应用十分广泛，市场需求量巨大，除智能手机、平板电脑等成熟市场外，还有智能家庭、云手机、云电视以及物联网等新兴市场。Wi-Fi芯片主要需要实现高线性度、高灵敏度、低功耗以及高抗噪与防反串四大特性，软件开发工作同样复杂，所以研发难度大。
 

灵芯公司的Wi-Fi芯片产品及模组拥有完全自主知识产权，并符合802.11a/b/g/n等主流标准，同时以硬件实现方式支持中国WAPI加密标准。经过数年的技术攻关，灵芯公司将Wi-Fi芯片成功推向市场并实现量产，同时取得相关国际认证，走过的路异常艰辛。目前，灵芯可提供套片、模组及IP授权等多种合作模式。此外，灵芯公司还可提供GPS基带和射频芯片、CMMB/DVB-SII/ABS调谐器射频芯片、2.4GHz射频收发芯片以及ETC解决方案等。

2011/10/10, Suzhou CAS Semiconductor Integration Technology Research and Development Center Co., Ltd. (SmartChip Integration-SCI) announced that its Wi-Fi chipset (including RF chip S103 and Baseband chip S901) and the relevant module SWM9001 had successfully obtained Wi-Fi Alliance’s certification “Wi-Fi CertifiedTM Interoperability Certificate”, marking a significant breakthrough of Chinese domestic Wi-Fi companies. SCI will deliver cost-effective chip solution for Wi-Fi application market from now on.

Wi-Fi technology is being widely utilized in all kinds of mobile devices. In addition to Smart Phone and Tablet, there will be many other chances for Wi-Fi to be used in Smart Home, Cloud Phone, Cloud TV and Internet of Things. Wi-Fi IC designers have to implement enormous hardware and software work. SCI owns IP (including Chinese WAPI encryption standard) and has capability to provide 802.11a/b/g/n standard chip solution, with flexible business model such as chipset, module and IP license. Meanwhile, except for Wi-Fi solution, SCI is also able to deliver GPS solution, CMMB/DVB-SII/ABS Tuner, 2.4GHz RF Transceiver and ETC solution for the market.
